Darien, CT - Flooding is on the agenda again!
SATURDAY, February 9 at the DCA - The Republican Club is hosting a panel discussion on flooding. Topics include the roles of Town, State, Federal and Private Property Owners. This is not a forum to discuss specific Town measures to address flooding, however it is anticipated to provide a detailed overview of the dynamics of the causes of flooding, what government programs are available to assist in mitigating flooding, and what can be done in preparation of the next heavy rain event. MONDAY, February 11 at Town Hall - Presentation from the Flood Mitigation Committee, Boards and Departments who have met in private to draft a flood mitigation plan bring their plan to the public. Meeting starts at 7 PM. Darien Town Hall at 2 Renshaw Rd (Google Map)
